#MEDIAROCKS 2019 – Meet The Bands

Media Rocks is back and bigger than ever! On the 7th February, six agency bands will battle it out to be crowned media’s ultimate band. From indie rock to heavy metal, original material to credible covers, will they have what it takes to get the crowd screaming?

CATALINA SKIES – Manning Gottlieb OMD (UK)

Hailing from all over the globe, this London based quartet are known for their catchy guitar riffs and infectious melodies, creating an up-beat alternative Indie Rock with a real edge.

CONCRETE AGE – Harvest (UK)

Concrete Age follows all traditions of true metal, whilst at the same time retaining its own individual style. The band is notorious for its high on-stage energy and definitive sounds of thrash & death metal fused with harmonious ethnic melodies.

EMMA AND THE FRAGMENTS – Jungle Creations (UK)

This female fronted four piece from East London recently supported All Saints at the Advertising Week Europe opening party! You’ll be reminiscing about the 90s with their pop influenced indie rock sounds.

FAWKES – 7 Stars (UK)

Fawkes are a group of friends from a small market town, called Hitchin. When they realised there was no way they could be crime fighting, super hero, rockstar billionaires – they decided to enter the ultimate battle of the bands.

THE GRAND – OMD (FR)

The Grand are a five piece band from Paris, who have been playing together for ten years. Their classic rock ‘n’ roll covers from the likes of Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones to Guns N’ Roses are sure to get you up and dancing!

LAVAA – iProspect (FR)

This indie pop rock quartet from Paris combine two high pitched and emotional voices, two eclectic guitars, a refined bass and percussion from another continent to form intense melodic sounds.

DON’T MISS..

The Vials will return to the main stage for an exclusive opening performance. The Vials won the inaugural Media Rocks back in 2017, where they were told to “quit their day jobs” by Mumford & Sons’ Ben Lovett. In the year since, they have gigged across the capital and recorded an EP, Still, as a follow-up to their debut album Perudo.

Bands playing. Feet thumping. Hearts racing. Crowds screaming. Drinks flowing. This is Media Rocks!
