In recognition of Captify’s continued commitment to improving transparency, privacy, and safety across the digital advertising ecosystem, Captify is delighted to be awarded IAB Gold Standard 2.0 Certification, alongside advertisers such as eBay, GroupM, Wavemaker, Publicis, IPGMediabrands, m/SIX, and more.
Launched in 2017, IAB UK’s Gold Standard initiative champions building a more sustainable future for digital advertising by addressing core issues and driving change from within.
In 2020, the Gold Standard 2.0 introduced more rigorous criteria, requiring certified companies to implement the IAB Europe’s Transparency & Consent Framework v2.0—creating greater cross-industry transparency around the use of consumers’ data. Requirements for 2.0 Certification include:
- Reduce ad fraud by implementing or supporting IAB Tech Lab’s ads.txt, sellers.json, and OpenRTB Supply Chain Object
- Uphold brand safety by obtaining a TAG Brand Safety Certification
- Improve consumer experiences by supporting CBA Better Ad Standards and promoting best practice to clients
- Aid compliance with GDPR and ePrivacy law by demonstrating and implementing Transparency & Consent Framework 2.0
